TOP > Global Warming > What can we do to prevent global warming?
One of the difficulties with this problem is that its influence is global in scale.
So, for example, even if Japan does its utmost to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, it does not mean that Japan's warming will be prevented.
Carbon dioxide discharged from any particular place is
swept away by the wind and dispersed throughout the world.
To solve this problem, it is critical that the
people of the world move in tandem.
Representatives from all countries have gathered together
several times and held conferences
in an attempt to address this problem.
Talks aimed at prevention of global warming continue bit by bit,
but they are still insufficient and we now face
a huge amount of work ahead of us.
The time has come when we must act in consideration
for all people on the earth, and for our children who will be born in the future.
